Refugee Women’s Network (RWN) is an organization founded for and by refugee and immigrant women. For the past 25 years, RWN has been working on enhancing the strength, skills and courage of refugee and immigrant women through leadership training, economic empowerment, education and advocacy to promote independence, self-sufficiency and networking among its participants. The primary programs of RWN are Social Adjustment, Leadership, Economic Empowerment, Health Promotion and Civic Engagement.

We’re actively hiring for the following positions:

Community Outreach Worker

We are seeking to fill vacancies for community outreach positions within the Burmese, Congolese, African, Afghan and other immigrant, and refugee communities. Interested applicants must speak English and have language fluency in either of the aforementioned nationalities.

The main goal for this position is community advocacy and resource development that are centered around encouraging, and empowering refugee and immigrant women. This position provides trauma-informed services to refugee and immigrant communities to support client self-sufficiency. The role works closely with existing RWN programs to meet individual client needs through advocacy and program referrals. Pay based upon experience.

Women’s Economic Empowerment Coordinator

The Economic Empowerment Program Coordinator is accountable for the implementation of the organization’s mission by providing services to refugee and immigrant women and their families in  Metro Atlanta and across Georgia, and community partners including statewide coalitions, refugee resettlement agencies, ethnic and community-based associations, and immigrant rights organizations. The Economic Empowerment Program Coordinator empowers refugee and immigrant women with the knowledge and resources to become economically self-reliant by providing employment assistance, facilitating entrepreneurship opportunities, and access to educational and financial literacy training programs.
