About Refugee Women’s Network (RWN):

RWN is a women-of-color-led nonprofit that supports refugee and immigrant women across Georgia in achieving self-sufficiency and leadership in their homes, businesses, and communities. For over 26 years, RWN has provided culturally responsive programs addressing the needs of women survivors of war, conflict, and displacement.

Role Overview:

The Community Wellness Program Coordinator supports health and wellness initiatives for refugee and immigrant women across Metro Atlanta and Georgia. This role includes collaborating with a team of 6 Community Health Workers (CHWs), coordinating wellness events, managing program logistics, and building partnerships with public health and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support CHWs in outreach, training, data entry, and event coordination.

  • Coordinate monthly Wellness Groups, Women’s Circles, weekly Outdoor Wellness events, and partner-based engagement activities.

  • Facilitate logistics, curriculum implementation, data collection, and evaluation for wellness programs including social isolation and mental health projects.

  • Assist with referrals from the MothersxMothers Program.

  • Represent RWN at community health coalitions and conferences.

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure program alignment and impact.

  • Assist with volunteer recruitment and engagement and grant reporting.

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to refugee and immigrant women’s health and empowerment.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and community engagement skills.

  • Access to a personal vehicle and valid driver’s license (required).

  • Willingness to drive community members and volunteers to events.

  • Must use a personal phone (stipend provided).

Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, or related field preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community health, public health, social services, or nonprofit work.

  • Experience working with immigrant and refugee communities strongly preferred.

  • Proficiency in additional languages (especially those spoken by refugee communities in Georgia) is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Comfortable with data collection tools and basic reporting.

  • Ability to sit, talk, and use a computer for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
