Reports To: Economic Empowerment Program Manager

Position Summary
Refugee Women’s Network (RWN) is seeking a Youth Program Coordinator to support the coordination and delivery of services to youth participants and their families. The Coordinator will work closely with youth, parents, schools, mentors, volunteers, interns, and community partners to provide individualized support and help youth achieve their educational, employment, and self-sufficiency goals.
The position requires strong organizational, communication, documentation, and follow-up skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities
Build trusting relationships with youth and families and develop individualized service plans based on their needs and goals.
Conduct youth assessments and coordinate appropriate services, mentoring, and referrals.
Coordinate mentoring activities and communicate regularly with youth, parents, mentors, schools, volunteers, and community partners.
Support youth with education, GED preparation, college applications, financial aid, scholarships, employment, internships, and job-shadowing opportunities.
Assist youth with job readiness, job searches, applications, interview preparation, employer referrals, and job placement.
Build relationships with employers and community partners to identify employment opportunities for youth.
Maintain accurate and complete client files, including required forms, assessments, case notes, and supporting documentation.
Enter all services and participant information into the DHS system in a timely and accurate manner and regularly update records as services are provided.
Complete required monthly reports, narrative reports, surveys, and other program documentation.
Follow DHS service-provision requirements and participate in required DHS trainings, monitoring, and compliance activities.
Participate in RWN staff meetings and meet regularly with the Program Manager to review client progress, program activities, documentation, and needs.
Recruit, coordinate, and support volunteers and interns involved with the Youth Program.
Participate in outreach, community events, and partner meetings and represent RWN professionally.
Maintain strict confidentiality of participant information and follow RWN policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Manager.
Qualifications
Experience working with youth, families, refugees, immigrants, or diverse communities.
Experience in youth services, case management, education, workforce development, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet reporting deadlines.
Strong computer and data-entry skills and ability to learn program databases and DHS systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Culturally responsive and respectful approach to working with youth and families.
Multilingual skills are a plus.
